A wacky press conference, Senate confirmation hearings, and pee-pee dossiers. What a long, strange week for the Trump transition. But, lucky for us, Cali and Dave unpack it all with their signature bravado and internal bickering.
Trump’s nominee for Secretary of State, former ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson, faced some unfriendly fire from within the GOP. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) peppered Tillerson with tough questions on his stance toward Russia, the Philippines, and Iran.
Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) broke Senate decorum in testifying against fellow senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL), Trump’s nominee for Attorney General. In his testimony, Booker listed grievances against Sessions’ record, to the delight of Democrats. But when it comes to Cory Booker, Cali’s just not buying it.
Oh! And the whole British spy in Russia thing. The dossier on Donald Trump’s weird fetish, which may or may not be real, but is definitely… something.
