So, like, maybe the first time you said I love you wasn’t ideal… but you are in love and you’re in the city of love! And you’re going to put it all on the line. You decide to channel your feelings into the perfect chocolate cake layered with raspberry-infused icing and topped with white chocolate ganache.

You find your expat in your bar at your regular table. You place the cake in front of them as an offering and slowly pour your heart out in a rousing speech, handing your lover a fork as you finish. They chuckle, but don’t speak, taking a bite of the cake. Their eyes roll back as they taste the cake’s unique flavors. As they swallow, they look up at you and smile. They love this cake, and they love you!

You walk over to their side of the table, and you lock lips. They feed you some of your cake and a bartender brings over a bottle of wine as the credits role.
