With Memorial Day Weekend in the rear window, thus begins road tripping season. We’re all looking at the open road, the airfare aggregators, and the Airbnb availabilities. We’re reflecting on vacations past and awaiting vacations future, and when the big trip finally arrives, trying to stay in vacation present mode.
Travel stirs up a lot of feelings for people: excitement, anxiety, nostalgia, curiosity, frustration, joy…you name it, you’ll feel it. And that always makes for great writing material.
This week, we want to hear about your travels around the world, around the country, around the block. We want to know how you feel about the TSA process. We want to read all about your adventures—as a kid, as an adult, as a fictional character even! We just want to hear from you. Send us a proverbial post card from your destination.

This week, we’re looking for new original pieces, using TRAVEL TALES as our prompt.
If you’ve got an inspired ideas about how to respond to this week’s prompt, send us your submission of 400-700 words. Write us anything that comes to mind when you think of TRAVEL TALES. It can be a personal essay, a poem, short story, script, or anything else original and fresh.
