LAS VEGAS, Nevada: Guy Fieri, award-winning Food Network host and multimillion dollar chef, will continue his chain of restaurant success with his next outpost, The Punchin’ Pumpkin, next month. After witnessing the pumpkin spice craze on social media and in kitchens across the country, Fieri really wants to “dip his hands in that gooey, seedy corner of Flavortown” that has been previously untouched.
Fieri is famous for his Emmy nominated Food Network show “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives,” where Fieri travels across America—the greatest country on Earth—to find the best flavors, foods, and fun, in both big cities and small towns. Fieri is known for his catchphrases, like “Flavortown” and “Triple D,” and is excited to add the “Power PSL” to his repertoire.
“Pumpkin spice is out of this world!” Fieri said of the recent expansion. “It really captures the warmth, vibrance, and OW WOW WOWZA of our great U-S-of-A.”
Fieri’s restaurants include Guy’s Burger Joint, Guy Fieri’s Steakhouse, Guy’s Barbeque Joint, El Burro Borracho, and many more, in cities like Las Vegas, Baltimore, Atlantic City, and New York City.
The Punchin’ Pumpkin’s first flagship location will be located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. “Myrtle is totally gangster,” said Fieri, while sliding his sunglasses down onto the back of his head. “People in Myrtle are all about having fun and blasting up flavors, and that’s really what the Punchin’ Pumpkin is all about.”
Besides the quintessential Pumpkin Spice Latte, or Guy’s Power PSL, other menu items include foods like “Pumpkin Flavor Bombs,” “Cream Cheese Blasters,” “Apple AK-47s,” and “Caramel Cruisers.” Featured drinks will rotate each month and complement seasons.
One drink which will be available all year round is available at every Guy Fieri outpost, called “The Vegas Regret,” which is a milkshake stuffed with Oreos, peanut butter cups, bacon, butter, cream cheese, chocolate turtles, whipped cream, with an onion ring garnish and ranch dipping sauce. “You can take the me out of Vegas, but you can’t take the Vegas out of me,” Fieri said, while inhaling a baby-sized bite of loaded barbeque chicken pizza.
The Punchin’ Pumpkin will open in early October 2017. Guy Fieri can be found on the Food Network on programs such as “Diners, Drive-In, and Dives,” and “Guy’s Grocery Games.” For more information, head to foodnetwork.com. For more on Guy Fieri’s culinary empire, head to http://www.guyfieri.com/.
